Before the yard above was full of dead grass and looked very messy. Below is a nice clean xeriscape with a dry stream and some nice xeriscape plants that require minimal care. We installed a drip system that made it easier for the owner to keep his plants watered on an efficient timer.
Below is a yard badly in need of a good cleanup.
After we are done cleaning up the yard. Now the customer is ready to put in some more landscaping if they so choose.
The customer wanted to have a low maintenance xeriscape to replace the grass area of their front yard. The picture below shows the results after the installation.
The picture above is the rest of the front yard that was converted to xeriscape below. As you can see we turned the slope into tiers in order to reduce the runoff from rain and watering.
This was a pretty big property in Rio Rancho. We were able to put in a flower garden, an area for vegetables and a nice walkway between the gardens and a bench to enjoy the view of Albuquerque.

We laid down some flagstone and placed the bench with some rose bushes and flowers around it. Along the south wall were some fruit trees and flowering plants.
