At 19, Rob began his venture in 1990 with a mower, line trimmer, blower, and the purchase of a truck and trailer. Despite the challenges of building a business through flyer distribution and word-of-mouth, his determination never wavered. A few years in, Vivian joined him, and together they have sustained their small enterprise. Their services remain straightforward: mowing, trimming, blowing, aerating, power raking, cleanups, and minor landscaping for homes and small businesses. "Our commitment is to provide personal, high quality as well as friendly and dependable service," Robert states. For Rob and Vivian, it's a privilege to be chosen by customers for their landscaping needs. A smaller business size allows for a personal approach and close collaboration with their employees. "The business has greatly benefited our family, offering valuable work experience to three of our children." Many of you have spoken with our daughters Jackie or Vanessa on the phone or had Josh, our youngest, provide service. It has truly been a local family business. Our kids have moved on to other careers, but now Vivian handles calls, schedules services, and supports the office overall. In the field we have a small but dedicated team. We are excited to welcome Debbie Griesemer as our new Office Assistant. She is replacing Vanessa in the office. We’ve known Debbie for over 27 years, and her extensive background in bookkeeping, reception, and office management makes her a perfect fit for the role. We are truly fortunate to have Debbie join our team. She will be working alongside Vivian in the office, managing calls, taking over Vanessa's invoicing duties, and providing valuable office support.
