Sodding and Seeding
Choosing to lay sod or to seed a lawn is a matter of preference. Seed requires significantly less labor and backbreaking work than installing sod does. So what is the true benefit of installing sod over seeding? It is an 'instant lawn' whereas seed takes weeks. Xeriscaping
Xeriscaping is commonly confused with "zeroscaping", but there is a quite a difference. "Zeroscaping" refers to covering the yard with nothing but gravel. Xeriscaping is landscaping with xeric or drought tolerant plants and colorful gravel. Installing a beautiful xeriscape is a great way to save on the water bill.
