Watering schedules are changing again! While the water by numbers schedule recommends once a week watering in March, there's a few things to keep in mind as well based on your different types of plants and their individual needs. Also if it rains more than a 1/2 inch at least once a month during spring there’s no need for extra watering! Irrigation Check! It is extremely important to get regular irrigation checks. Things you want to have checked are Controllers, Valves, Back Flow Preventers, pipes, drip lines, emitters, and sprinkler heads and nozzles. Now is a great time to get your system check done, this is so you know that water is flowing correctly and that the timers are working for each of the zones you have set up. |
